Leadership Capacity Building
Adding a new program for every challenge can lead to overburdened staff and budgets. Educators’ perceptions of “adequate” resources to make change possible may have less to do with how much is available than with how decisions about resources are made.
Helping develop criteria for decision making that centers student needs and school goals, activating teachers’ leadership capacity, and promoting alignment allow administrators to get change off the ground.
